Before there was a detailing business, there was a badge — and a calling to serve.
For over twenty-three years, I wore the uniform of a Chattanooga Police Officer. I answered the calls nobody else wanted. I showed up on people’s worst days — at accidents, at doorsteps, at scenes that tested everything I had. And through it all, I learned something that would shape the rest of my life: that caring for people isn’t just a job. It’s a calling.
In those years, I met people from every walk of life — families in crisis, strangers who needed help, community members who just needed someone to show up and care. I learned that service isn’t about the uniform you wear. It’s about the heart you bring to the work. It’s about looking someone in the eye and saying, I’m here, and I’ve got you.
That kind of trust — the kind where someone hands you their worst moment and believes you’ll handle it with care — that stays with you. It changes you. It changed me.
When my time in law enforcement came to an end, I knew one thing for certain: I wasn’t done serving this community. I couldn’t be. Chattanooga is my home. These are my people. The question was never if I would keep serving — it was how.
